Albuquerque, NM. July 1 to 13
I am delighted to be back in Albuquerque to share my knowledge with you!

WORKSHOPS, July 10 to 12:  Feeling tango and expressing its music
When I teach, I pass on what I learned from the old milongueros. Even now that they’re gone, I occasionally revisit the interviews I conducted with them and always learn something new.

Watching the video below, [1:30 minutes lenth], two things surprised me.
1. How well Horacio Préstamo explains the topics I’ll be covering in my workshops.
2. The connection between the past and the present.

The milongueros began by learning the follower role. Many women today dance the leader role.
It doesn’t matter what role you dance, but how present and active you are when you dance, how you communicate with your partner—giving and receiving, receiving and giving—and, of course, how you express the music!

Ultimately, that’s the essence of tango. Today, we take that heritage and apply it according to our preferences. Tango is so many things… also freedom!

I look forward to working with you on the effectiveness of your movements, on the confidence, comfort, and solidity of your dancing. Your partner will appreciate it as much as you do!

Check the highlights from past workshops that connect to this upcoming session. This time, I am bringing you an even more upgraded and impactful workshop experience!

Let’s work one on one! An excellent opportunity to understand and FEEL those subtleties that are difficult to see but that will transform your tango.
