The milongueros began by learning the follower role. Many women today dance the leader role.
It doesn’t matter what role you dance, but how present and active you are when you dance, how you communicate with your partner—giving and receiving, receiving and giving—and, of course, how you express the music!
Ultimately, that’s the essence of tango. Today, we take that heritage and apply it according to our preferences. Tango is so many things… also freedom!

Friday July 10: FEELING TANGO
6:45 pm – 8:00 pm: Happy followers and leaders
This class will be a preview of what we’ll develop over the weekend. An exquisite move to get you onto the dance floor and start dancing! The followers love the feeling this move offers, and leaders calmly begin to dance in the direction of “la ronda”.
Saturday July 11: FEELING TANGO
2:00 pm – 3:15 pm: Movements as expression of how you work with the floor.
Feel better and make your partner feel better. Optimize the way you move, so that your movements are not mechanical but rather an expression of how you work with the floor.

3:30 pm – 4:45 pm: Join the orchestra as if you are a member
Improve your ability to hear the music of and be able to interpret this feeling with your partners in sync with the many unique sounds of different orchestras.

2:00 pm – 3:15 pm: Rhythmic orchestras
Dance the musicality and spirit of rhythmic orchestras. Different dance times, simple, double, half. How to play combining different dance times.
3:30 pm – 4:45 pm: Melodic orchestras
Express the most significant part of the music, Melody. Even dance the pauses with rich musicallity!
