Ricardo Rezk: “I was 21 and one day the phone rings in the factory and my father tells me that it was Copes calling and when I went to answer he asked me if I was willing to go to North America. I told him yes. He answered, “I wait for you at Marabú (Cabaret Marabú). We have rehearsals at 4PM.” I went and I started to rehearse and made my debut in the Marabú. At the time there was the orchestra of Pepe Basso (José Basso), with Floreal Ruiz, Jorge Durán and Chocho Florio (Roberto Florio).”
