TWO days Workshops with Monica Paz!

A few years ago, dancing in Cachirulo at 444 Maipú Street in Buenos Aires, a milonguero told me: “Dancing with you is like driving a Ferrari, too bad we’re in rush hour”

Wednesday, May 22nd. 11:15 am to 12:45 pm:
1/4. Maybe not a Ferrari, but…Go through “pits” before stepping on the track. Adjust your “car” and get the most out of it. Greater efficiency for your dance.

Wednesday, May 22nd. 3:15 pm to 4:45 pm:
2/4.
Pilot and co-pilot: Optimize that relationship: Connect with your dance partner and enjoy the retroalimentacion (feedback).

Thursday, May 23rd. 11:15 am to 12:45 pm and 3:15 pm to 4:45 pm:
3/4. Is your car in condition? Master the wheel on the different pavements: Smooth floors and not.
Dancing all the same?  Adjust your dance for musical variety. Let’s start with the rhythm of D’Arienzo, Biagi, etc.

4/4. Thursday, May 23rd. 3:15 pm to 4:45 pm:  Snow chains are not used in summer:

Let ‘s drive the roads of Di Sarli, Calo, Demare.

Get ready for an unforgettable tango weekend!

The milongueros I interviewed danced with these great orchestras of the best era of tango. They danced with these live orchestras playing in the same room, can you imagine dancing to Troilo and he is right there in front of you?  Imagine! I danced with these milongueros who were there, in this era.  I talked with them and learned from them. Most of them are not here any more; but, I carry them in my heart and their dance is with me. I would LOVE to share my Tango heritage with you.

* Last review: “I strongly recommend studying tango dancing with Monica Paz!

In the over 20 years of dancing and studying milonguero style tango, I have worked with numerous teachers. Among the few who stand out is Monica Paz. She was born into the tango culture in Buenos Aires, and has devoted her career to passing on all that she learned from the original milongueros. Sadly, most have passed, but even they could not teach because they ‘just did it’. Monica danced and talked with them over many years in order to figure out what they did to make their dance so special. She has developed an effective course of study that passes on their secrets.

The last class I took with Monica amazed me! In one hour she gave me a few simple suggestions that added fluidity and comfort to my dance. She is a gifted teacher for beginners as well as those of us who have loved and practiced tango for many years.”
