Ricardo “Tito” Franquelo: “We used to go to dine with our milonga partners. On tables with 10 or 12 people, 5 or 6 girls and 5 or 6 boys. We shared the dinner, and frequently we even accompanied them to their houses. This custom was very normal, a question of courteousness. Many of those girls were accompanied by their mother.”
